Hi all. I am hoping to move early 2008 to Manchester to study and am hoping to buy an apartment there too. Can anyone tell me what Islington Wharf is like. IE The area in general, social and night life, shopping, parks etc etc.
I've also seen some property in Middleton and Hayward but do not know the area yet. |

Manchester is a great city and a great place to study. Very different these days from the city it was just a few years ago. But as with all cities it has it's nice and not so nice areas. I don't know Hayward but but if you are going to study the Student's Union should be able to fill you in on the different areas?

I have to agree, as cities grow they change as well. And each cities does have the good and bad. Have you checked with the school resources as they might be able to give you more information on where students tend to stay.
