I think my main financial concern is, not really anything present but in the future when i can no longer work. I want to be sure that I am going to be about to support myself when this time comes and not have to rely on anyone.

For securing once's future one should have some stable assets with them like property. They can use some part of it and can rent it to get some money to run there house hold needs.

In case of emergency you can sell your house and than rent it back. So buy some property for securing your future and your partner's future.

certainly there are many more issues to deal with like long term assets, current assets, liquid assets and super quick assets. the future of the wards is equally important. medical treatment and necessary amount required for the treatment is also important. it doesnt end up with opening an account in the bank. the financial concern lives with the age and ends with the age.

I would only like to suggest that if your properly manage out your finances, you would not have any such issues for the future. I know its easy to say, but i have done it, my future is well secured, i have a lot for my children and my wife. Everything is going nicely now and will be in future as well. It depends on how you are managing your finances. Smart steps now, can build a brighter future.
